Continuing my research into Syrian charities I came across the American Relief Coalition for Syria (ARCS). ARCS is government funded, Washington DC based, non-profit lobbying and grant-making org made up of a coalition of 13 member organizations, including the now thoroughly exposed Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS).
Dr. Zaher Sahloul is the founder of both ARCS and SAMS, and is currently a Senior Consultant and Advisor for the US arm of the french funded, non-profit, UOSSM.
SYRIAN EXPATRIATES ORGANIZATION (SEO)
One of ARCS coalition members I'll be focusing on here is the Syrian Expatriates Organization (SEO). As you can see from the 3 red stars on their old logo above they are without doubt pro-opposition/Anti Assad. Their old logo, which they've recently changed, came from an archived version of their website.
According to their old website, SEO setup and funded the notorious Aleppo Media Center (AMC). Weirdly, the description of the AMC on their new website fails to mention that the SEO set up the AMC.
ALEPPO MEDIA CENTER
Aleppo Media Center (AMC) was set up by SEO in 2011. Since their inception they've played a pivotal role in helping to further the western propaganda war. They were behind both the award winning documentary Last Men of Aleppo, and the photo of Omran Danqueesh, which made it to the front pages of nearly every major newspaper in the world.
EXCLUSIVE: ‘Aleppo Media Centre’ Funded By French Foreign Office, EU and US | 21st Century Wire - 09/20/2016
This Aleppo Media Centre pulled off a propaganda coup – one that generated calls for a No-Fly-Zone and associated western intervention policies all focused on salvaging the US failed road map of “regime change” in Syria. However, a number of independent international journalists, media analysts, and peace activists began to question the imagery and its source, which revealed some extremely disturbing details – not only about the picture itself, but more importantly about the organization who supplied it to an eager western media.
Since that infamous photo the AMC have deleted most of their original social media accounts. Both their original Twitter account and their Arabic speaking Facebook page have been deleted, with their last post on their English Facebook page being posted in August 2016. They have even changed their website address from .org to .net.
For some reason the Twitter account they link to from their current website (scroll to the bottom) is suspended. Here's the AMCs latest Facebook page.
As we can see from the matching logo below, Ghouta Media Center is part of the Aleppo Media Center
GHOUTA MEDIA CENTER (GMC)
If you're wondering why you might of heard of the Ghouta Media Center (GMC) that's because they were cited across MSM as one of the main sources of the photos and videos that April 7th video of the alleged chemical attack in Ghouta.
The groups -- including the White Helmets, the Douma Coordination Committee and the Ghouta Media Center -- said toxic gas inside barrel bombs dropped by helicopters over Douma caused people to suffocate and choke. | CNN International - 04/08/2018
Pro-opposition Ghouta Media Center (GMC) put the death toll at 75, and said that more than 1,000 people had been injured and some reports from the town suggest that the death toll is in the hundreds. | News Week - 04/08/2018
The pro-opposition Ghouta Media Center tweeted that more than 75 people had "suffocated", while a further 1,000 people had suffered the effects of the alleged attack. | BBC International - 04/08/2018
Here is the Tweet they reference in their reports.
RECAP
- ARCS in partly funded by the US Government
- Dr. Zaher Sahloul is the founder of both ARCS and SAMS
- SEO is a member of ARCS
- SEO set up AMC
- AMC is partly funded by the French government
- AMC partner is GMC
- GMC produced and helped to spread the images of the victims online and is referenced in the MSM as a source confirming the attacks.
One last thing, since I started this post a few days ago I've noticed that ARCS no longer includes Syrian Expatriates Organization in their list of coalition members. This makes me think that ARCS are trying to distance themselves from the SEO and the GMC. According to previous saved pages on archive.is the removal of SEO from the list has only happened within the last day or two.
