Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM)
After the recent alleged chemical weapons attack in Eastern Ghouta, many western super powers were quick to agree Assad was to blame for the bombing. Among the handful of Syrian charities quoted by the media in the hours directly after the alleged attack was the french based Syrian charity, Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM). UOSSM claimed initially that 150 people were confirmed dead, with the number of dead likely to grow. This is a far stretch from the final death toll of 44 which the White Helmets claimed the very same day.

- Tawfik Chamaa, a Geneva-based Syrian doctor with the Syria-focused Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM), a network of Syrian doctors, said 150 people were confirmed dead and the number was growing. “The majority were civilians, women and children trapped in underground shelters,” he told Reuters.
Who is UOSSM?
The Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM) was founded in January 2012 in France, and is made up of a coalition of humanitarian, non-governmental, and medical organizations. Countries that are part of the coalition include France, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Turkey. According to their website they provide independent and impartial relief and medical care to victims of war in Syria. UOSSM is partly funded by European and US governments.
Worryingly, UOSSM have put themselves in charge of collecting data and registering Syrians that have managed to escape the conflict. This is without doubt a way for western powers to track and ultimately control the Syrian people. It would also put them in a good position to be able to manipulate the figures and statistics coming out of Syria that the MSM regularly rely on.
Over 14,000 Families; 44,000 Displaced From Ghouta in One Week | UOSSM - 04/02/2018
From March 23-31 2018 UOSSM registered over 14,000 families, which is over 44,000 people, that were forcefully displaced from eastern Ghouta. Between March 23 and March 31, UOSSM provided mental health care, and child protection services to over 26,000 beneficiaries. UOSSM is part of a coalition of several NGOs serving the people of Ghouta.
UOSSM has been providing primary health care, mental health care and psychosocial support, ambulatory and nutrition services to thousands of newly displaced persons, and has been leading the data collection process at the evacuation point.
Another concerning thing about the charity I came across during my research that I thought was worth a mention was in an interview for Reuters in 2012 a spokesperson for UOSSM, Tawfik Chamaa, revealed that the charity runs a network of 'secret hospitals' and 'clandestine' supply lines across Syria.
THE SYRIAN BRITISH MEDICAL SOCIETY (SBMS)
One of the organizations that falls under the UOSSM umbrella which I'm going to focus on here is THE SYRIAN BRITISH MEDICAL SOCIETY (SBMS). SBMS is registered in the UK and has 2 directors, Dr TAGHLEB AL RAHABI and Dr MOHAMMED HASSAN WAZAIT. Interestingly, unlike Dr WAZAIT, Dr TAGHLEB AL RAHABI isn't listed as an officer/director anywhere on their website. It seemed a little odd that there was no mention of his connection to the SBMS anywhere online other than in company documents so I decided he was the one that was worth taking a closer at.
For someone whos the director of an organization that receives funding from a number of governments around the world, and who claim to be non-political, Dr TAGHLEB AL RAHABIFacebook page appears extremely political. As you can see from the examples below, Dr TAGHLEB AL RAHABI is very much an active member of the anti-Assad movement. This is just a small collection I pulled from his Facebook page, but there are many more like it. (Top/bottom left pictures are of him.)
He's also member of the Syrian Organization for Refugee Affairs, which is part of the Damascus Civil Council, both of which are pro-opposition.
AL-RAHABI MEDICAL SERVICES LTD
Further research reveals that Dr AL RAHABI is also the director and controlling officer of AL-RAHABI MEDICAL SERVICES LTD. Note the slight variation in his name. This is a classic ploy used by people and organizations wanting to muddy the waters around their finances, although I'm not saying that is the case in this situation.
A woman with the same surname, SAMAH NAKHLEH ALRAHABI is listed as the company secretary. As we can see from the screenshot below the financial statements for AL-RAHABI MEDICAL SERVICES LTD are more than a year overdue which has resulted in a compulsory strike-off notice.
SAMAH NAKHLEH ALRAHABI is a trustee for the HERTS WELCOMES SYRIAN FAMILIES (HWFS). HWSF is a charitable organization, partly funded by UK tax payers, that provides assistance to Syrian and other refugees and asylum seekers in the county of Hertfordshire in the UK.
This matching picture on her Facebook page confirms SAMAH NAKHLEH ALRAHABI and Dr TAGHLEB AL RAHABI are related. Looking at the rest of her Facebook page it is apparent she is also in full support of the Syrian opposition.

Just by looking at the publicly available digital footprint that these 2 people have left behind on the web it's seems quite obvious to me that these charities couldn't possibly be either impartial or non-political. The point of this research is to show how public money from hard working innocent tax payers around the world is not being used for humanitarian purposes, but is instead being used to prop up fake charities in order to further the propaganda war in Syria and around the world.
I have a ton more research into different Syrian charities that I'll be sharing with you over the next week or two, but for now I'll leave you with this sentence from Russian Insider which I think sums up the current situation in Syria perfectly.
