The news..
Good morning to you all, here with a yesterday morning brief that could, in all honesty, be twice as long and still not get in all the big news stories happening right now.
Mexico City and the metropolitan area of the country, lives an emergency this past Tuesday September 19, before the first 24 hours after a powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.1. Collapsed buildings, gas and water leaks and debris are reported in the streets.
In the face of images showing the devastation and confusion experienced in Mexico, leaders of the region, celebrities, organizations and users have expressed their solidarity and concern for the potential victims and affected by the earthquake that arrives exactly on the date when turn 32 years of the devastating earthquake of 1985 in the Mexican capital.
Heartrending accounts are emerging from witnesses and survivors after Mexico was struck by its most deadly earthquake in a generation. More than 149 people have been confirmed dead and that toll is continually rising. The US Geological Survey has issued an “orange alert”, warning that up to 1,000 fatalities are likely.
Casandra Hidalgo saw a seven-story block of flats collapse in Mexico City. “It fell to the ground in front of our eyes, people were running everywhere around it, but we’ve been standing here since and no one has come out of the building,” she said. Monica Saavdera’s 87-year-old mother was in the block when the earthquake hit. “I pray that she’s already dead, that she’s not trapped underneath alive,” she said.
Elsewhere in the city, at least 21 children and four adults died when Enrique Rebsámen elementary school collapsed. At least 28 were still missing.
That is how rescue work at the Enrique Rebsamen primary school is now, with some twenty children dead and about 30 missing.

United in Prayer for Mexico:
Almighty God, I address you humbly, so that you may set your eyes a moment here in Mexico and in the whole world. You gave us the free will to make decisions with the heart, not for ambition and power, unfortunately some people move for that, no matter what else. Kill, kidnap, rape, burn, torture, smother, prostitute, steal, defraud, etc., all this is easy for them. And I, Father, can not seem to do anything, I wish I could do something and I do not feel able to find what to do that is really useful to remedy the evils of today. That is why TODAY, I close my eyes and with tears, I turn to YOU, to ask for your help, so that you put us very close to your heart. We are asking you Father: Light for Mexico, Honesty for Mexico, Peace for Mexico, Security for Mexico , LOVE for Mexico, Health for Mexico, Harmony for Mexico, Strength for Mexico, Equality for Mexico, Justice for Mexico and all this we also ask for the whole world; with love, faith and trust we ask in the name of Jesus !!Amen !!!I wish you could share this message to be more people who pray with this intention Remember that union is strong! Let us unite in prayer!
