In a world where social media platform's are going out of there way to share your personal details with Watch Dogs as well as scrape your personal data for there own benefit, it's time that you learned about a platform known as Minds that provides an alternative to the way thing's are being done.
My favorite underrated fact about Minds, while platforms like Twitter and Facebook are going out of their way to make it difficult for people to discuss the subject of cryptocurrency, Minds is not only built on top of a crypto token, Minds is uncensored and encrypted allowing users to share posts and information on their profiles without having to worry about Watch Dogs tracking their user details.
Anyone looking to promote a cryptocurrency brand or talk about Ico's just like here on Steem have an honest and open platform for the topic which will not limit users from their ability to share a message with their audience unlike the algorithm on Facebook which limits users to around 7% viewing once a user reaches a threshold of a certain amount of contacts. Minds.com supports cryptocurrency and Bitcoin completely and there is never going to be a time when the words cryptocurrency ban are ever going to be used in the same sentence by the owners, for that reason alone Minds.com deserves a second of my time which is why I decided to open an account today after all these years of watching the platform grow.
If you have not heard about Minds.com it's time you were introduced to the next alternative decentralized and encrypted social media platform to hit the block that aims to replace Facebook.
With around a million registered users on the beta and 110000 monthly users or so, Minds.com is poised become the first encrypted social media platform set to rival some of the big companies on the block and shake up the way things are done in the realm of social media networking, offering an experience that is honest, private and a refreshing change from the norm.
Downloading the Minds.com app could not have been any easier and took me under 5 minutes to set up on my phone as well as register and start to use, from my perspective that's fantastic considering some of these apps make it very difficult to just start using them.
Unlike Facebook ,Twitter or Instagram as well as the other leading social platforms, Minds retained a strictly reverse-chronological timeline. Minds has also just recently upgraded the user experience to include tokenization, where users can earn tokens simply by spending time on the platform or when other users interact with a given post.
Minds does have encrypted messaging, although I have not yet had a chance to mess around with it and get to learn more about how it work's, I look forward to trying the messenger this week. Because, encrypted messenger's are one of my favorite thing's, in the order of favorite things ;p
