I know that many people dream of leaving the city and opening their own farm, ranch, or agricultural property. The story below is one of the reasons you should join the convention of states movement. Things like this really happen. My house is connected to a well which my neighbors agreed I could use. The state disconnected it. There is supposed to be a creek that occasionally runs through my property named Cove Creek. The government has done absolutely absurd things to allow the rich and powerful who own this land but do not use it to get away with pumping the water ten miles and more upstream. Things like this happen all the time.
