The popular internet meme Grumpy Cat, better known for its permanent ''grumpy'' facial expression, has been awarded 710 000$ in a copyright lawsuit.
The court decision stems from a copyright infringement case against the Grenade beverage company for a "Grumpy Cat Grumpuccino" iced coffee line in 2013, over the unauthorized use of the meme to promote the product.
