In this video, I report on the recent news of Elon Musk being forced by the SEC to step down as chairman of Tesla and pay a 20 million dollar fine alongside Tesla paying another 20 million dollar fine.
All the while, the SEC is looking at banning Elon Musk from ever running a public company for the rest of his life! This story is not slowing down any time soon, so we break down how we got here.
Elon Musk have been an inspirational, successful man of great ingenuity for two decades. Going back to his PayPal days, he invested every cent he had into Tesla and SpaceX following his massive PayPal buyout. He slept in the office and worked hard to develop a small startup. He was incredibly successful and made massive dividends off of Tesla.
He was an icon, millions loved him until the media told people not to. Over the past two years, the media has appeared to be obsessive with bringing him down. Slowly but surely, they've painted him as a terrible person. An unbalanced person. Part of that image admittedly he helped emanate himself. From comments about a Thai cave diver, a hilarious spat with the upper echelon of elite bankers on Twitter, to his appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast, the media has been steadily trying to drive Tesla stock down and one has to wonder why.
Well now due to tweets he put out regarding going private and securing funds for Tesla after months of market downturn for the company caused by constant bad news based on circumstantial situations, the SEC filed charges against Elon Musk and by the time Elon accepted the charges, he was forced to step down for at least three years as chairman of Tesla.
Funny enough, Elon tweeted that he has decided to simply change the name from chairman to "not chairman" to avoid this charge.
Now the SEC is also looking at banning him for life from running a public company. This is clearly over something he's done. We want you the viewer to let us know what YOU think he's done for this to happen.
With that said, you don't have to like him to see that this is clearly personal and wrong. His palling around with Leonardo diCaprio, his government contracts worth billions, there are many reasons to call out Elon Musk and dislike him, but when the media tells everyone to dislike someone at the same time, it's a form of mind control and one has to be weary and try and understand why there's such an effort to manipulate the minds of the masses like an incremental frog boil.
