AMPI will again hold the Millennials Nationalism movement for the second time.
The Indonesia Youth / AMPI Reform Organization will again hold the Millennials Nationalism movement for the second time. In November 2017, AMPI has conducted similar activities with TNI Army Headquarters.
Chairman of DPP AMPI and initiator of MillennialsNationalism, Dito Ariotedjo said, this activity will embrace several government agencies and young communities from various fields.
He said the movement this time themed "Young Children Welcomes Indonesia 4.0". This movement invites young people to pour their ideas and views on the vision of the Welfare State 2045 in the form of short videos, papers, and digital applications.
"These works will be collected as a manifestation of their optimism and hope for Indonesia in the future," Dito said at Freeware Co-Working Space, SCBD, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/4/2018).
Dito explains, this movement aims to embrace the community, especially the younger generation in building and strengthen hope, confidence and optimism for the future of Indonesia.
In addition, through this movement, Dito wants young people to answer negative issues and pessimistic trends from a small number of circles in the country, in a more positive way.
"Nowadays, young people need more encouragement of optimism to stimulate their problem-solving based creativity, not even with negativity that will weaken positive trends," Dito said.
"These are the ones who will lead the way ahead, and I think, by inspiring them through optimism and positive things is one of the best ways to build youth and Indonesia." Dito continued.
Adding the statement, Chief Executor Irham Kaharuddin and Executive Secretary Azka Aufary Ramli also said that passing optimism is the duty of young people to remain positive view the future of his nation.
"The great nation is a nation that has dreams, has aspirations, and has great expectations as well. Through this activity, we want to spread optimism to Indonesian youth. Optimism that Indonesia has all the conditions to become a great nation, "said Irham.
"Youth history proves that being visionary and being optimistic about the glory of the nation is able to mobilize massively society" Azka replied.
Dito, who also serves as Chairman of the Golkar Party's DPP for Political Innovation and Innovation, reiterated that this way of delivering aspirations and visions is one of the relevant ways to absorb the national aspirations and challenges directly from the community, to be answered together with the solution.
He said, this is all breathe with the spirit of the government of President Joko Widodo #MenujuIndonesiaMaju and the concept of the country in the future as stated in the Vision of the State Welfare 2045.
