Some of the Dark Overlord's posts were removed from Busy & SteemPeak, after it was banned on Steemit. (Just one has been removed from Busy so far.) This is an interesting addendum to The Dark Overlord story. As many people pointed out previously, they were banned on Steemit for violating TOS (likely because their leaks are illegal, and illegal activity violates Steemit's Terms of Service.) You can actually see why Steemit banned them below (sorry if it's blurry):
They were still posting on the Steem blockchain because, as we all know, Steemit just banned them on the frontend. However, now it looks like other frontend services are taking action too. Busy.org so far has just removed one of the group's posts. It was a plastic surgery leak that got a lot of criticism by Steemit users when it was first shared. Busy has taken the post down due to a DMCA notice:
And it appears another frontend, Steempeak, has removed ALL their posts due to copyright or privacy violations.
I wonder if Busy will follow suit since it's already taken down one post due to a DMCA notice? I wrote a little more about this on Heavy here.
I'm not offering any opinions about the whole thing, but I thought some folks might be interested in an update. What do you think? Have you noticed anything else that I've missed?
