On the eve of #VijayaDashami (Immersion of Goddess Durga), this piece of news saddened all including me. I was just changing one channel to another on the Remote Control, suddenly my hand got no movement on the news of stampede of at least 22 people at Elphinstone Railway Station's Foot-over Bridge in Mumbai. I kept changing channels after channels and all the Channels were reporting the same story with their unique reporting style. I was also shocked to know that Indian Railways have come at a stage where people's lives mean nothing to them. People's lives are so ordinary that few consolation, few compensations, and few crocodile-tears would solve this burning problem.
The lives lost can't be brought back, but I pray for those who got injured in this deadly stampede.
