Eight have died, and hundreds are home less due to heavy storm in cape town, the south african Weather Service has warned cape town residents about disruptive snowfalls that has killed eight people already, according to Storm Report SA, this heavy storm is expected to last for atleast 2 and people are asked to stay in doors to avoid being affected or being victims
This cold front has been seen as the one the biggest rainfall in the western cape province, other storm was in 2009 and only 3 people died and 75 were home less, many areas remain without power due to downed power lines and there have been numerous reports of trees blown over by gale force winds. there is about 72 roofs blow off and several shopping centres sustained some damage, including cavendish Square, sommerset Mall and the cape town convention centre, schools and universities were closed on Wednesday as a precautionary measure
