The picture says it all. Twitter's claim to being a free speech platform is pure bull shit. Whether you like or hate Roger Stone, whether you agree or disagree with Roger Stone's politics, free speech is an essential right that must be defended in any healthy democracy. No one should ever be silenced for their political views. Although an argument can be made that Twitter is a public company and they can block people that they don't agree with, Christian bakers and priests aren't given the same rights under the current legal framework. Until Christian bakers can refuse their services to gay couples getting married, or christian priests can refuse to marry gay couples, a leftist organization like Twitter should be forced to play on the same playing field that conservative small businesses have to play on. It is ridiculous that Twitter keeps on suspending conservative/libertarian pundits from their platform and all I can say is that I'm glad Steemit doesn't block users. Roger Stone, if you ever read this article (which is extremely unlikely), I recommend you ditch twitter and give steemit a try.
