I was horrified when finding out the about the terrible conditions in which some people are forced to live in.Most people only know Hong Kong as a financial centre with its famous skyline and glitzy appearance. But beyond that,the poorer people with everyday jobs can't even afford the rent of a standard home.Hong Kong is now one of the most expensive places on the planet to live.
Greedy landlords are illegally subdividing apartments,some as small as 15 square foot.For some people it's either this or out in the street,the problem with Hong Kong is there is no land left to rebuild on. In the meantime people carry on living in these appalling conditions.
