Tommy Robinson has been convicted to 13 months behind bars for contempt of court.
Tommy Robinson was arrested outside Leeds crown courts on Friday for breach of peace when he was live streaming on his phone outside the courts. But the judge then changes that to contempt of court following a trial of a grooming gang being tried for sexually abusing young girls as young as 11 years old, that tommy was speaking about on his live stream.
When did the day come that reporting on such horrible crimes become a crime in its self.
Tommy Robinson is branded as a far right political activist turned journalist. And has been speaking out about the Islamic ideology and it's flaws including sharia law.
He has successfully organised rallies all over the country including his most recent held in London for #dayforfreedom marching from speakers corner in Hyde park to Whitehall, 10 Downing Street. It was a peaceful protest following tommys ban on twitter for speaking out about Islam and the banning of brittany pettibone and her partner in crime martin sellner, As well as lauren southern from entering the UK. All because the government are trying to silence our freedom of speak.
In order of appearance:
brittany pettibone, lauren southern, martin sellner.
Even if you do not agree with some of tommy Robinsons views I believe anyone who values their freedom of speech should get behind this movement and show that the government can not and should not restrict our right to speak openly.
If we can't speak openly then how can we discuss important matters such as religion and the economy. You should be able to speak openly so someone else of whom may disagree can have an open dialogue and view their opinions on the matter to hopefully come to a middle ground. Silencing people will only take the matters underground to fester and will never be challenged.
The arrest of tommy Robinson has sparked protests all over the would, demanding tommys release from prison,
This 13 month sentence is as good as a death sentence for tommy as the UK prisons has a large Muslim population, with reports of Muslim imams intentionally committing crimes to get into prison in order to try and radicalise
vulnerable Inmates.
