Again new story from United Airlines.
Passengers leaving the eastern Newark area and heading to Venice to see the passengers witnessed a gushing oil spill on the left wing as they moved to the runway, and the flight was barely stopped shortly before takeoff.
Mike Rachel Bramfield, who was on a honeymoon in Venice last night. I looked outside the window of the United Airlines (UA) Boeing 767, and saw the oil coming out of the reservoir at the left wing end of the passenger jet on the way out, "as if the fire hose was spewing water."
According to the New York Post, her husband, Mike, rushed to the crew to announce it, and then only screamed, "Go back to your seat." When Mike said, "Something is wrong," the crew said that it was "an emergency," and that "everything is normal, so go back to your seat."
Then the UA crews looked out the window and ran to the cockpit as the situation was serious. Then the engine went out and a fire truck ran, his wife Rachel said.
