Trump ordered the CIA to stop arming Syrian "rebels" after he saw a video of them beheading a child.

This has long been a very touchy subject, as it's pretty hard to know for certain what the facts are. My default setting is to question anything the mainstream media passes off as facts, and the whole Bashar al-Assad being the the devil incarnate is definitely one of them.

A video surfaced around this time last year of a group of men beheading a young boy, they were part of the Zenki Syrian rebel group who had been receiving aid from the CIA as well as a favourite among the MSM. Who were frequently presenting this terror group as actually representative of Syria's "secular" and supposedly democracy-promoting armed opposition.

"The footage is haunting. Five bearded men smirk as they surround a boy in the back of a pickup truck. One of them holds the boy’s head with a tight grip on his hair while another mockingly slaps his face. Then, one of them uses a knife to saw the child’s head off and holds it up in the air like a trophy. It is a scene reminiscent of the Islamic State’s snuff videos, except this wasn’t the work of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s men."

This is just fucking sick what these rebel groups are doing to the Syrian people. Please ask yourself the logical question, why would a president, who was voted in by the majority of population, murder his own people just to then have the entire world attempt to overthrow him. No one is that stupid.

Remember it's all about the mainstream media narrative. Once you realise that news has for a long time now has had nothing to do with truth but profit and pleasing their investors.
