Later, two hundred pieces of Yaba were recovered from Ariful Islam and three hundred pieces from Rakta Begum. Ariful Islam is the son of Kuddus Ali of Jadavpur village of the upazila. Ratta Begum, son of Jahangir Hossain of South Buruj garden in the same upazila.
Besides, a businessman named Saiful Islam (30), Yabash, was arrested at around 10:30 am on Monday by the DB police. Jessore district DB police OC Maniruzzaman arrested the admission of the incident. He said that DB police SI Murad Hossain arrested during the regular duty and arrested in front of Sohel Rana's shop after raiding the market. Later, in search of the body of the locals, his body was searched and found 250 pounds of yaba. Saiful Islam is the son of Nasir Uddin of Jadunathpur village of the upazila.
