No pope has ever visited to North Korea. The invitation to visit Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea will be delivered by the South Korean president Moon Jae-in who will be in the Vatican city next week as part of his European Tour. According to reports the visit will only happen if North Korea accepted Catholic priests.
