The founder of Pay-Pal and one of tech's biggest giants, Peter Thiel is doing something that a lot of rich people are doing... getting ready for the Apocalypse.
An article in the Mirror describes how Thiel and other tech giants are buying up land and building safe houses, and panic rooms to protect themselves in the event of a disaster. A threat they must think is real in order to spend millions of dollars preparing.
Many of the richest are aiming for New Zealand.
New Zealand isn't the only place. Mark Zuckerberg and Larry Ellison have bought up space in Hawaii to get ready. Several rich people have purchased a space in the luxurious doomsday accommodations located in an old missile silo in Kansas. Check out this place.
What do they know that we don't? Nothing.
It is simple to look at the world today and see that any range of serious issues could cause some kind of collapse. It could be financial, bio-chemical, natural or plain civil unrest. Whatever it is, we all need to do our best to prepare. If you don't have the money like these tech giants, that doesn't mean you can get prepared the best you can.
