Looks like the 1987 Lethal Weapon movie in the neighborhood

Yesterday looks like the 1980's movie, "Lethal Weapon" around here. I captured the phone photos during the excitement.

They blocked the street at both ends, the only people I don't have a photo of is the swat team. They were back on the main street as backup. I will explain what is going on at the bottom of the post.

You can't see but this is the firetruck blocking one side of the street. Max my dog starts barking and this it the first thing I encounter.

This is a Battalion from the fire department, also at an angle to block the street.

These people came out of the apartments, I have never seen them before. They walk down the street to talk to officials.

I snapped this photo because I could not figure why the fire fighter had that long tool.

That is the Fire Marshal standing without a helmet on. This is after things calmed down.

Here is what I found out

The people in the apartments received a box in the mail, they did not know what was in it. So they are worried about a bomb. (what has the world come to?) So they called the fire department.

The Fire Marshall told me the people opened the box before their arrival. Sort of did them a favor. Someone had ordered a water pot and forgot.

Had I known they were worried about a bomb I would have taken my dog Max and left the area.
