Tesla completely re-eningeered its vehicule production process and is now hoping to reach its expected prodcution figures in the upcoming weeks.
The production of the Model S3 has been slacking for months now, with various production-stops as the top of the iceberg. CEO Elon Musk tried to reassure investors by relating the delay to the high level of automation inherent to the production process.
The process was analysed, tested and resdesigned. Results show that some tasks are eventually executed better and faster when done by humans than by robotica.
Numbers for Tesla have been in red for the past quarters, but Musk believes that Q3 and Q4 will be completed in the green once the S3 production reaches cruising speed.
