The public panic in the West regarding this epidemic has more to do with their governments not censoring fake news and conspiracy paranoia, than improper dissemination of facts. Now, there are fools who proclaim that the viral infection originated in the US. Information ought to be disseminated on a need to know basis, and much of the information regarding epidemic containment, the public has no business acquiring.
