Three people, including a woman, were killed in a collision between bus and truck in Kalihati of Tangail; At least 15 people were injured.
Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station Aashbur Rahman said that at 7:50 am, the accident happened at Dhaka-Tangail Bangabandhu Bridge Highway in Saratail area of the upazila.
Police said the injured were sent to Tangail Sadar Hospital but they could not immediately confirm the names and identity of the casualties.
The OC said, "Three people were killed on the spot while a truck collided with the opposite Chinaman with a bus of Meem Paribahan from Rangpur."
After getting the news, the police rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital with the help of locals. The condition of one of them is critical, said the police officer
