It's fascinating to see all these stories of how the super rich can avoid the taxes that mere poor people have to pay. Of course some of what they do is technically legal, but it seems they have to get lawyers in to prove it. You need millions to pay for that as well as to meet the minimum requirements.
The so-called Paradise Papers follow the Panama papers in exposing this creative accounting. For some people too much is not enough. Why help the poorer members of your community when you can buy another yacht?
Of course those who work hard deserve a reward, but millions of people work really hard for little reward because they happen to be a nurse, teacher or other 'less important' person. Any big business is built on the efforts of many.
I find it hard to feel sorry for the rich. Like it or not our societies rely on taxes to keep things working any people should pay their share. Do without a 3rd Rolex if necessary.
I doubt we will see real changes to reduce this as many politicians do it too. Even the royal family has been joining the fun.
