The House passed the controversial Tax Bill. No Democrats voted in favor of it.
I’m not sure what to make of it. I watched some videos from different perspectives and included the links below. The way I see it .. give it a shot. Why not?
For my income and circumstances it seems like I would benefit. I’m not sure how big of a benefit, but definitely some. I love the idea of the simple tax forms. I hate doing my taxes, it’s complicated. The new standard deduction is more than I’ve ever been able to itemize, so I don’t care about losing those itemized deductions. I’m also in the tech industry, so the corporate tax cuts don’t bother me if they will bring back tech jobs in the USA.
