Bangladesh's flagship venture of her first satellite project "Bangabandhu-1" is going to fly tonight. The dream of Bangladeshis is going to come true at last.
The satellite will be carried by a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket and the launch will be streamed live at USA local time 4:12pm to 6:22pm or2:12 am to 4:22 am BDT from SpaceX launch station in Florida.
An upgraded version of the Falcon-9 rocket, created by SpaceX, are used for the launch. The satellite can empower the economy of Bangla Desh through revenue generation from the new sectors and lead off a brand new digital era for Bangladesh.
The satellite has been ordered by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Commission Limited, BTCL, at a value of concerning $ 250 million. The satellite has been created by astronomer Alenia that could be a Franco-Italian region manufacturer placed in city, France.
