Death Toll Skyrockets as Heatwaves Hits Various Parts of the Globe
This year of 2018 has so far been a very hot one, beating all-time highest temperature record in a few countries like Iran, Pakistan and India.
High temperatures and heatwaves were common in most parts of Africa, South East Asia and in the Middle Eastern Countries which is a very alarming situation. To add more to our worries, several heatwaves has claimed hundreds of lives in US, Canada and most parts of Europe where temperature hit 47C in Ottawa, 36C in Montreal, 40C in Armenia, 40C in Denver and 42C in Yerevan, Russia.
The countries with the most devastating heatwave were India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran in which the heatwave engulf the atmosphere and claimed the most number of lives including livestock animals and birds too.
Mercury Crossed 47C mark in India, 50.7C mark in Pakistan and 54C mark in Iran causing a great hurdle in daily routine work. To Prevent kids from deadly heat-attacks, many schools and educational institutions across the region announced Educational Break.
