President Trump threatened to released delayed illegal immigrants into sanctuary cities.
This point was brought up to Senator Cory Booker on the Sunday morning talk shows. When asked if it was a friction, Booker replied that it was a ploy to pit citizen against citizen and make us less safe.
Trump asserted that the Left's idea of open border makes America less safe. Booker is one of the harshest critics of the Trump policies so his admission is a big deal.
The idea was floated twice by the White House but has yet to be instilled.
