It's the last day of 2022 and I can't believe the year is gone. It's been an interesting one and a learning period as well, as always. In a few hours we're going to enter a new year and have the possibility of a fresh start. This is more like an illusion as you can't delete what's happened in 2022 and can't forget things either, but even so, it's been always a chance to review your old year and make some plans about what and how to change things in the new year. This is a mental game and not a bad one I must admit.

I'm not fond of new year resolutions but I do have a list of things I'd like to do or change in the new year. This is important if you want to make some progress. Once you are satisfied with everything, you stop evolving and you will less likely make any progress in life. No matter how good you think you are, there's always room for improvement.
Without going into details, my health will take priority next year, no matter what. There are quite a few things to change and I need to work on that. Without a good health, one has nothing, so now is the time.
Smarter time management is also a priority, to have more time to study. Studying in your free time is nice but I need to make sure to have that free time, otherwise it's just a dream or something that happens once in a blue moon, which is not enough.

Hive had its 3rd birthday in 2022. (Can't believe it's been 3 and a half years already. I thought this was Hive's second birthday, had to look it up to be sure and avoid spreading misinformation.) Yes, there was a previous period on the legacy chain, the start happened there and was a good lesson for all of us, but as time passes, it becomes less and less important. Why? Because it was far from what we wanted, there was always a matter or us vs them and a constant fight for different reasons.
Since the fork, that happened in 2019, a lot has happened on Hive. Development, compared to what we had on the legacy chain has been insane. We have so many new projects going on, I can't even list them in a post.
Chart wise Hive did this in the last 3 and a half years. We had 7 red candles in 2022 (BTC had 8 by the way), which alone means nothing, if you don't compare it to the year open and year close level. We're at the level of July 2021 at the moment, but this is not a cause for worry. This is a time to accumulate for the next period if you're serious about it.
It's hard to predict the future, so no one knows what 2023 holds for us and Hive. However, looking back to the previous years, I don't think it's going to be bad, on the contrary. Those who are looking for a quick profit may be disappointed as Hive is not going to moon anytime soon, we don't know when the bear market is going to end. There are predictions everywhere but those are probabilities, never certainties.
Those who are here for long term, can see a different picture. They don't look at the price of Hive, or they look at it as an opportunity for a good investment as it's still early.
It's time to put an end to this year, enjoy the day/evening/night and have some fun. I hope you'll be here next year as well.
Happy New Year everyone!!! Have fun and see you in 2023!
