Storm King Art Center
An outdoor sculpture park
On a recent trip to New Jersey, we took a drive up into New York to visit Storm King sculpture park. It is an enormous place of grassy rolling hills, pockets of forest, ponds and full of walking trails.
It was a perfect place for a good walk on this crisp and sunny day. It is quite spread out, so we didn’t get to everything, but plan to on some future trip. I loved seeing an Andy Goldsworthy meandering stone fence at the far end of the park.
They boast the park to be “perhaps the largest collection of contemporary sculptures in the United States”.
