Andrew Sendejo inactive, as Vikings’ Sam Bradford gets special knee treatments
Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford reportedly traveled to New York late last week to begin special treatments to help his ailing left knee (hope he get well soon).
NFL Media reported Sunday that Bradford began Regonokine treatments, a process that involves drawing Bradford’s blood, spinning it down and then reinjecting the knee over five or six days.
Bradford was inactive Sunday against Green Bay at U.S. Stadium, the fourth game he has missed out of the past five with wear and tear in his knee joint. He returned to start last Monday at Chicago, but was ineffective and was replaced in the final minute of the first half by Case Keenum after aggravating his knee.
Keenum got his fourth start of the season against the Packers.
The Vikings on Sunday also were without injured starters Andrew Sendejo (groin) at safety, Stefon Diggs (groin) at wide receiver and Nick Easton (calf) at left guard. Sendejo, who was listed as questionable, returned to practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday but wasn’t healthy enough to play.
In place of Diggs, Michael Floyd, a St. Paul native, got his first start for the Vikings. Sendejo was replaced by Anthony Harris and Easton by Jeremiah Sirles.
In addition to the four injured players, also inactive for Minnesota were wide receiver Rodney Adams, tackle Aviante Collins and defensive end Tashawn Bower.
Inactive for the Packers were starting cornerback Davin House, starting safety Morgan Burnett, cornerback Kevin King, linebackers Joe Thomas and Ahmad Brooks, offensive lineman Adam Pankey and defensive tackle Montravius Adams.
