Hello everyone!
Now that my HP has finally recharged, I’m posting a new blog entry.
This time, I created both analog and digital versions of an artwork — using reversed colors and a few small variations in each.
For the analog piece, I first covered the whole canvas with black spray paint, then painted over it with white and red. However, I must admit that things didn’t go as smoothly as I’d hoped.
Although I used water-based acrylic spray paint, the white paint was sometimes repelled, probably because the black layer was too thick. And since I couldn’t sketch beforehand, it was practically a one-shot attempt — no chance to “redo” things like in digital art. The result left me with quite a few regrets.
Still, it was my first experiment, and I realized that this art style can indeed be recreated in the real world. Fortunately, I can simply spray over the surface again and keep practicing until I can draw confident, bold lines and create an artwork I’m truly satisfied with.
As for the digital version, I based it on a style suggested to me earlier by .
I’ve listed it on Zeroone as part of my new style and as a small personal milestone.
It’s not about whether someone buys it — it’s more of a keepsake and a reminder of this creative moment for me.
