Dr. Shank’s NFTs are a collection of non-fungible tokens. There are 9,999 NFTs in the collection, and each NFT represents a digital eagle collectible.
Each eagle NFT has been created with a combination of 60+ digital items and is different from the rest. How to earn ETH with Dr. Shank’s Eagles NFTs?
Eagles (NFTs) are your pass to the most exclusive golf community in the world and can be used to access MetaShank — a virtual golf universe that enables you to virtually play golf in some of the top golf courses in the world.
In addition, the holders of Dr. Shank’s NFTs also stand a chance to win ETH for selected golf tournaments. Here’s how it works.
Among the 9'999 Eagles, Dr. Shank has hidden the names of all the 2'000 professionals playing on the PGA, LPGA, European Tour, and Ladies European Tour. Each NFT buyer has an equal chance to get a professional name. However, you can increase your chances by purchasing/minting more Eagles.
Each season, Dr. Shank will select his 20 favourite tournaments, the four major leagues, and the three major team events (President’s cup, Ryder Cup, and Solheim cup). For every tournament, the holders of the winning and runner-up Eagles will be rewarded with ETH. (details below)
Dr. Shank will select the following tournaments every year:
- 20 golf tournaments
- 4 major golf leagues
- President’s Cup, Ryder Cup and Solheim cup
Basically, all Eagle holders will get 27 opportunities (every year) to win ETH for 27 tournaments.
How will rewards be offered?
For each of the selected events, winners and runner-ups (2nd & 3rd place) will receive ETH in the following manner:
1st place — 3% OF TOTAL AVAILABLE REWARD POOL ETH
2nd place — 2% OF TOTAL AVAILABLE REWARD POOL ETH
3rd place — 1% OF TOTAL AVAILABLE REWARD POOL ETH
** The REWARD POOL will be formed by the amount raised from the sale of Eagles NFTs. The target amount is 40% of NFT sales or up to 394 ETH.

To sum up, follow these steps to start earning ETH for major golf tournaments:

2,000 out of 9,999 Eagles will have golf professionals’ names hidden in them. The distribution of names is completely random. (The more you mint/buy, the more likely you are to have a named eagle).
If you get a professional name in your NFT/s, you have a real chance of winning ETH.
Wait for the selected tournaments. If your player ends up as a winner or runner-up (2nd or 3rd place), you’ll be rewarded with ETH according to the above table.
