Nigeria as the most populous country in Africa with over 170million in estimation is blessed with over 40 mineral resources but solely depends on crude oil as its major source of income.
Looking at 1960 when we got our independence, I wonder why some people keep saying Nigeria is Not old enough to gain independence but the fact remains that even if we just gain independence, we are not just capable of maintaining the infrastructure left by the colonial masters.
Imagine Nigeria importing matches, pencil etc... What happened to our Nigermash company (factory that produces matches)all if them as folded up.
How will Nigeria be great when politics as been tagged as a very lucrative occupation in the country, in which a senator who is expected to serve earns as salary and allowances, what an average Nigerian worker with a minimum wage of N18,000 a month will earn in 6-7 years or what 10 average working class Nigerian will not earn in a year.
How can the country be great when the three arms of government are not into good terms. Instead of them working together they keep fighting for power.Imagine asking a child what's your father's occupation? He reply's with a "Politician"... Is politics really an occupation?
How can Nigeria be great? what is the possible solution to our how political problems?
