And so fresh from camp, we hopped into trucks in the cold as we journeyed to reach out to the unreached, indigenes of Aliero, Kebbi state of Northern Nigeria.
There we provided free medical care, held lectures on personal hygiene with the aid of an interpreter, and we went as far as bathing the children who seem not to have come across water in years.
We also barbed and plaited their hair and provided them with clothing materials.
