The petrifying saga that greeted the Nigerian acadeosphere some few days ago marks yet another debilitating, insalubrious, odoriferous and contemptuous comedy of sorts in the already bedridden status of the nation.
This precariously orchestrated joke is one gone too far. We have suddenly come to a point in our history where innocent animals are bearing the blame for our grossly decapitated, morally deranged and sardonically corrupt country. Was it not the British Prime Minister, David Cameron who once said quite frankly:
Nigeria is fantastically corrupt!
Here you go:
A snake swallowed N36 million from JAMB office!
What a hogwash! What a capricious temerity! What a nonplussed embarrassment! What a scintillating comedy! Imagine the opprobrious and vituperative attack this ugly-headed lie has inflicted on the collective intelligence of Nigerians!
Those who took it upon themselves to ridicule this country in a shambolic demonstration of tomfoolery must be isolated and thoroughly dealt with. But sadly, and true to form, we are certain that like every other corruption case in the past, this too will go under the carpet of forgetfulness.
Shame on JAMB!
