Many might get confused of what this is, or what ots supposed to mean. Either of them you are still welcome to read this post.
The 6-3-3-4 is the system of education of Nigeria, that is an individual is meant ro spend six years in the primary school, three years in junior secondary, three years in senior secondary and four years in the tertiary institution. Now lets start to break them
The first which is 6 years in primary school
The primary school is where the early stage of a Nigerian student is supposed to begin, all things been equal because somethings might happen and cause changes.
The primary school is basically a foundation for every student to know how to read, write, know basic arithmetics and general knowledge about the society at large. After the completion of the basic classes the student is expected to take an entrance exam into the junior secondary school. This brings us to next one which is the 3 years in junior secondary.
3 years in junior secondary
Here with the excitement of leaving the primary school students dont know the junior secondary school is a different game where the amount of play is meant to be limited, due to this they usually get purnished for this.
Thats how we correct people in Nigeria, purnishments and flogging.
The junior secondary expose students advance form of learning, increase in their reading habbit, seriousness in pursuing their professional goals. After the three years is complete an examination known as "junior waec" is written to get into the senior secondary.
3 years in the senior secondary
By this time every student is grouped into special classes (science, commercial and art) base on the future goals.
At this point students are meant to be learning preliminary works of what they will see in the tertiary institution relative to their feed l, and more advance works are given to them to build them up. After the completion this stage, they are meant to write "WASSCE EXAMINATION" and also "UTME" to gain admission into the tertiary institution.
4 years in the tertiary institution
This is where students are shown what their professional is totally all about, and been taught how to go about it in the outside world, students face a complex system, different method of learning and grading and so on. By grace the student completes its tertiary education with whatever grade they got to face the outside world. This were the Nigerian system ends and also where the government ends it responsibility in the life of every person. Now my question is what next? do we start working in a system of unemployed youths?, turn enterpreneur with no access to funds?, pursue our talent which was earlier rejected by our parents in substitution for tertiaty education?, or what do you think?, or by any means "shey school na scam?
