Humanity has advanced in virtually every area of life, including the hypocrisy of humans. Nowadays, issues that are otherwise quite easy to discern by everyone are cloaked with hypocrisy that often ends up misleading a lot of people.
One thing, however, is that no matter how far lies have traveled, the truth will always catch up one day. Whether in this generation or in the future, humanity will end up unraveling the cloak and the hypocrisy will be known to everyone. But for now, let the hypocrites have a field day.
Welcome to the last month of 2022 and to another edition of STEMng.
Who are we?
STEMng is the Nigerian sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that has been supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain for about four years now. While stemsocial focuses on everyone irrespective of their country, STEMng is specifically for Nigerians. The best stem contents published by Nigerians on the Hive blockchain are highlighted weekly.
Below are the posts that made it into our digest for this week:

: Weekly Science And Technology Reports - December 4 2022
Kickstarting our selection for this week is an article about articles. Yes, you heard right. The article is a summary of some of what has been happening in what world of science and technology in the past few weeks. The author has made it a weekly tonic for us to enjoy some of the key findings in the world of science and technology. Check the article out to update yourself.

2.: Sickle Cell Retinopathy
A lot of people are familiar with sickle cell disease. Many more are familiar with how the disease is inherited and the various symptoms associated with it. However, not many can boast of what the diseases can do to the eye apart from the general symptoms. In his post, our Ghanaian brother, after lamenting about how his country got eliminated from the world cup, discussed the possible effects of sickle cell disease on the eyes. Quite an educative piece, I must admit.

3.: Hair Loss in Women
Hair loss is something that seems to be common in both males and females as they grow older. While many of us are familiar with this medical condition, only a few people, especially those in the medical field, tend to understand the mechanism behind it. In his post, this medical doctor explained hair-loss, specifically in women.

4.: Cannabis: In the treatment of Lyme Disease
Here is a post explaining another medical use of cannabis. While a lot of people do not know cannabis beyond getting high, the scientific world has been exploring the potential numerous medical benefits of this substance that remains banned in several countries of the world. This time, it is about a disease caused by certain species of bacteria, otherwise known as Lyme disease. What is this disease, its symptoms, and how does cannabis comes in as its treatment? Check the post out.

5.: Kidney transplantation and its possible complications
Kidney problems have become a regular occurrence in our society and social media is filled with financial appeals to help victims with kidney transplants. However, not many of us know the nitty-gritty of kidney transplants and the possible complications that may result from the procedure. This is what our writer decided to educate us all with.

And that ends our selections for this week. Do not forget to give the featured posts/authors your maximum support. Thank you in advance.
