Hello my awesome steemian friends. I wish to inform you of a little discovery I made yesterday.
I stumbled on a Telegram group with 900plus members. I was really impressed by the organisation and structure in that group. I’m currently part of a whatsapp group with 200plus members and I have been looking for something like this.
I’m on steemit chat and discord but I have not been able to fully utilize these apps. I’m a little bit active on steemit chat but only on private chats. I seldom use the chat rooms.
I am an admin in a Facebook group with over 4,900members. It's called steemit post promotion. You can search for it and join us there. I'm also in many other Facebook groups.
The only thing I use Facebook to do these days is to promote my steemit posts and view posts from people who promote their stuff on Facebook.
The importance of being part of a smaller community in steemit cannot be overemphasized. Dont just be another face in the crowd. Steemit is a really vast ocean and you need to belong to be part of a smaller tribe that can support you in the case of a storm.
When I started in Steemit I didn't know any other Nigerian who was doing it. But when I discovered the Nigerian community I became very inspired. I was glad to know that there were Nigerians who were already ‘steeming’. I started using the Nigerian tag when
