Having been here over 4 years now I have some idea why.
The first things I noticed when I arrived were how many people lived in apartments/flats here, it seems around 90% of the population, the second thing is homelessness, I have yet to see 1 person as yet.
The next thing I noticed was the lack of big corporations here, they tend to stick to the west, like some sort of disease that is hard to cure.
Then we get onto differences with regards to government and the way the tax (force you to pay) works here.
In the UK if you drive a car, you pay a yearly amount of road tax, running to $100's per year and more for hgv's. That was supposed to fund the now crumbling and pot holed road repairs. Here there is simply a small tax on fuel, the more you use the more you contribute towards road repairs, it works, use no fuel - pay nothing towards roads. In the UK extra tax is applied to fuel also, so you pay twice and get less.
property is another thing taxed in the UK, this time to fund the local council (government for your area), this runs into $1000's per year also, here you pay $0.
The government here charges 23% value added tax to all purchases you make, the UK last I checked was 20%.
I can claim all that tax back every time I leave as I am not a resident, so for me it is tax free.
Corporate control in the west!
With so few corporations here, and very little "big" manufacturing plants, they "corporations" have no control over the government like they do in the west. You may note in countries like Germany, and the UK, these corporations have headquarters, so governments have to agree to do things like they have done "fact". Like end permanent contracts for employees, force in government minimum wages so the corps can pay less to people, leaving the government to pick up the tab for topping up wages, here it simply has no place to exist.
The only logical reason I can conclude by government agreeing to get rid of these workers contracts and rights, and then having to pick up the tab of topping up wages, is the "flexibility" of labour they call it with these zero hour contracts, makes working even a few hours a week, make people disappear off the "official" unemployment figures, making it look like more people are in work than really are, full time employment at least. So the feel good figures of low unemployment rates shown in the news in no way reflect reality of life as it really is.
The Polish refusing Angela Merkels undocumented mainly African influx of young males makes zero sense here to comply with, unlike the rest or the west, there is simply no need for a flood of the next cheap labour for corporations. With so little big corps here you see, they can not force Poland to comply with this nonsense.
Due to Poland refusing to take Africans and those not of "refugee" status, there is some media fed lies that there are no refugees here, well I can prove without doubt that is untrue, as not only have I met Syrian refugees, I count them as friends, they are happy here, though looking forward to the end of the war to return home, they study at college or universities, they work 2 or 3 jobs, they are very much the "asset" that are welcome here, so do not believe the msm presstitute lies.
So what is the real problem in the EU then?
Crony capitalism works well for corporations to take a grip on a country, they can lobby and coerce the government into anything they want, I have for many years suspected corporations run the world, not governments, and this in a way very much proves it, for without them government is more free to do as it wants, not as the corps want.
Now do not get me wrong, I am still not for big government either, smaller is better in my eyes, and that brings me onto other aspects of this whole situation.
False flag terrorist attacks, how many have Poland had? zero 0 not a single 1, why? nobody lives in fear here, the local police have always been armed with a pistol, how many times do they shoot people or citizens per year? 0 per year is the latest figure I found.
My local police men sometimes do odd jobs for me, welding or car repairs, sometimes they just pop round for a cup of tea, imagine that in the west, I think not. In the UK some police openly state they work for a corporation when policing high streets, and fracking protests. There are many videos of this on youtube, so I am not going to bother putting one here. Misguided loyalties you see, they forget that by law they are supposed to protect & serve people now, in the west.
Deliberators verdict = Hope this clears up some popular misconceptions.
Have a perfectly pleasant week ahead, I am off out into the fields to do some much needed weeding and watering, tis a drought here you see.
