It has become clear that in the past few years the gig economy has taken off. Companies like Uber, Lyft, Postmates etc. have really changed the way people do business and how they spend their free time. Is this new economy sustainable? It seems that we are at a convergence of the Millennials, Gen x'ers, and Baby Boomers. Millennials seem to like the fluid consitency of things not always being the same, going with the flow and focusing more on themselves instead of what others think they should be doing. Baby Boomers on the other hand seem to be set in their ways on what is expected as we age and progress through our lives. Is the gig economy going to leave the Boomers behind, or can they get on board and benefit from it like the younger generations?
