Hi Friends.
I was watching Nomad videos, and living in your Car, or Suv,and Boondocking, on Youtube and said to myself ,I love how they live!
They have the freedom, they live with a lot less stuff, and are a minimalist.
So I Gravitated towards that direction.I learned a lot, by watching these videos.I started preparing for a adventure.
I got curtains, and sunshades, for the car and started putting them up, and getting the vehicle ready for a trip.
I put one seat down, and put a tote,on one side behind, the passenger seat. Then I cut wood to fit the back ,so it would be comfortable. In the tote I put food I could easily heat up,water and basic food to prepare.I put a portable potty on other side behind the passenger seat.
I put yoga mats down, and a foam mattress, sleeping bag and pillow for one side to sleep.
I put a propane cookstove and 2 gallons of water I got from dollar tree for meals and for bathing.I had a old fashion coffee pot for making coffee.I had a hiking stick and also i brought my snowshoes.I was unsure the weather conditions and wanted to be prepared.
I put in a bag under the seat, a winter jacket, gloves ,and hat in pocket and stuffed bag, under seat to take up less space. In other seat,I had in other seat by my bed a tote with clothing, some winter, pants, sweaters, shirts and some shorts.
In front i put my heated coffee cup I could use in keeping it hot or cold.I put on seat next to me my cooler which i could plug in to keep foods cold.So i had curtains for privacy, bed, toilet, food, water,a way to cook food and keep it cold.I needed a way to shower. So i went to walmart got a shower for camping.I started saving coins for tolls.and prepared the car.
Day i was leaving gassed the car and headed to New York,to Herkimer,New York ,You ask why?I wanted to go digging for diamonds in the Diamond minds there,So first night I stayed in Albany New York, and went mining the next day for diamonds. Then I headed to Colorado,The scenery is so surreal,we have mountains in Maine, but these where magical and breath taking.I stopped st Garden of the Gods.
Colorado Springs' paradise in one magical stop. Garden of the Gods Park is a registered National Natural Landmark. Imagine dramatic views, 300' towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snow-capped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. It was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1971.The Garden of the Gods' red rock formations were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. Archaeological evidence shows that prehistoric people visited Garden of the Gods about 1330 BC. At about 250 BC, Native American people camped in the park; they are believed to have been attracted to wildlife and plant life in the area and used overhangs created by the rocks for shelter. Many native peoples have reported a connection to Garden of the Gods.So when I got out of my vehicle my heart just sang.I cried ,cause it was so breathtaking and I was living my dream.I was there on my road trip.Living my life and seeing the beauty.I will share my video with you you Youtube my trip to Garden of the gods. Please do not give up on your dreams.Life is to short to to do a adventure .
