In Norway, or at least many Norwegians and in the rest of the world, makes a gingerbread house as a Christmas tradition. We usually make it in the middle of December, and then smash it and eat it around new years eve. Or at least that is the plan. But when the house has been standing around for that long it doesn't taste very good, all dusty and stale.
So this year we made a chocolate house instead. First off it was much easier to make, with melted chocolate as glue instead of the life endangering melted sugar. And it tastes so much better, not stale or anything. Here's a video of my 3 girls trying to smash the house, with some damaged kitchen appliancy along the way. Turned out we had to get a big hammer :)
