I put on sale this painting for 20 SBD.
The painting reflects a small part of Morocco's ancient culture of traditional dress, and the Moroccan tea tray, the tea which has been a link between Morocco and European countries throughout history, it started spreading across the Maghreb in the middle of the 19th century, Since then, tea has become the first drink in Morocco, where it is found in every Moroccan house, whether it is poor or rich, and it should be noted that tea is the symbol of hospitality and generosity of Moroccan people.
Moroccan mint tea recipe :
Nothing better than to prepare a good Moroccan tea to spend a pleasant afternoon with family or friends.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Number of people: 4-6
Ingredients:
3 to 4 teaspoons of green tea - Promote high quality teas
1 bouquet of fresh scented mint
1.5L of water
1 glass of water - for rinsing green tea
10 sugar stones.
Instructions:
Pour a glass of water into a saucepan and boil. Once boiling, pour the water over the green tea previously placed in a teapot and rinse to remove excess tannin that gives a bitter taste tea. Leave the water 1 minute before removing it.
In the same saucepan, pour 1.5 liters of water and simmer (do not boil). Meanwhile, wash the mint leaves and cut the stems.
Once the water is simmering, pour it into the teapot and simmer for a few minutes over low heat.
Add the pacifier and mint leaves in the teapot off the heat and cover. I advise you to dip the mint leaves in the bottom of the teapot. It should not cook, it would remove all its aromas.
Mix everything without using a spoon. There is a very simple way of pouring tea into a glass and then pouring it back into the teapot.
Renew the process several times to oxygenate the tea and give him the chance to develop his perfume.
Let infuse about 5 minutes.
Serve hot tea in small glasses provided for this purpose. To lather the tea, serve the teapot well high above the glass (be careful not to burn yourself).
You can decorate your glasses by adding a few mint leaves inside.
I wish you the beginning of a happy spring 😊😉
