In the 9th century vikings came to several places in Morocco, among them NAKUR and AZILAH, where they kidnapped a princess (Nakur) and robbed food (Azilah). I will come back with more info later. Also this based on more or less contemporary Arabic sources. In addition to Zarasoul, there is Bni Oros, app. 30 kilometers east of Tanger, in the mountains, where the crew from two stranded viking ships settled down and where integrated little by little.
