Å fiska på vestsida av Bømlo kan gje gode fangstar. Særleg no i august når makrellen bit.
Treff ein på småmakrell og fisken er i betet, kan fangsten bli god. I går kveld fekk eg 21 småmakrellar eller pir som dei ôg vert kalla.
Nokre bilete viser litt av fangsten og eit bilete viser Rogøya som fortel kor makrellen vart fiska.
Det siste biletet viser fangsten etter at den er komen heim på kjøkenet og ventar på å verta filetert og gjerast klar til å kunna etast.
I neste post vil eg visa korleis eg steller makrellen for å laga til eit lite kveldsmåltid.
Fishing on the west side of Bømlo can provide good catches. Especially now in August when the mackerel bit.
Hit one on small mackerel and the fish is in the hunt, the catch can be useful. Last night I caught 21 small mackerel or porpoises which they called for.
Some pictures show some of the catch and a photo shows Rogøya as the tell kor the mackerel was caught.
The last picture shows the catch after it has come home to the kitchen and is waiting to be prepared and ready to eat.
In the next post, I will show how to cook the mackerel to make a small evening meal.
