You can be the best blogger, or the biggest literary genius, fit the summary of a Melville novel into a single well written paragraph, be a paid blogger who earns $50/page from Yahoo, or you can be really good at writing run-ons, like this one!
The fact is, at Steemit, it appears the only way you can make money is if you make huge deposit into your wallet & then crank up your Steem Power.
But, don't take my word for it. Just go to the 'new' section, and read some of the posts. There are hundreds of great stories, that are well written and researched; however, those writers don't have a lot of Steem Power. After a few days, take a look back and note, they made a whopping nickle.
Then, try the trending section. Here you might find a story about a young adult who just had a pancake in a European B&B, and amazingly, the story made $250.
Give Steemit.com a try. Write 100 decent stories, and get back to me on how much you have earned.
I'm not complaining, I actually earn over $100/day writing for 4 different sites/blogs. Steemit just didn't work out for me.
