One thing I’ve learned this year is that no man can simply do all things perfectly.
Sometimes we excel, but for sure there will come a time that we will fail. If you excel, remain your feet on the ground. And if you failed, don’t put yourself below the ground. Forgive yourself but don't forget how you failed.
Failure is something that we cannot avoid in life. Life is neither about how many times we failed, nor how many times we became successful. Life is about how much we’ve learned from all the challenges. And it's up to you how you will handle them.
Remember that for every decision that you make, there are consequences. And for every commitment that you seal, there are sacrifices. But this shall not make you afraid to make a decision and commitment. You have to prepare yourself to face the consequences and to make sacrifices.
Lastly, the journey of life is not solely about you. Surround yourself with people who will uplift you in times of loneliness. Keep a company that will make you inspired to accomplish things. Guard your heart from all the burdens and focus on your priorities. Never again allow people to judge you and navigate your life. And never let your failures define who you are.
A reminder to self:
“Don’t be too harsh on yourself. Always look on the positive side. If you do, you will find true happiness in life.”
