Released to the stores yesterday just in time for halloween. Time hacked fx on a long fuzzed blues guitar stepping on a glitched dubstep created using akai iMpc pro and apples garageband. The fx was indeed a bit of a hack as it required porting out then remixing in.

The title stems from an encounter with a lovely lady outside of shakespeares pizza in columbia missouri. She had made a tape of bix biederbackes music. When she first said the name my mind heard it as bix spiderback. At the time i was so lost in studies and entheogens to realize she liked me and for some reason i thought she had a boyfriend already. Sigh. Alternative realities beckon when kyrios misfires.
I wish i could see her and thank her. I ended up loving the music and the story of a white boy from iowa rising meteoric through musical innovation, love, and partying to briefly wear the crown of the horn player such as the likes of king oliver, louis armstrong, buddy bolden. He died young due to alchohol. Most likely the tainted poisonous prohibition booze sped up his demise. Check out this all time desert island favorite of mine featuring Bix, a young Bing Crosby and c melody saxophonist frankie traumbauer. Called taint no sweet(thats worth the salt of my tears). The irony of it all is not lost.
