Learning to Talk
Have you Lufties noticed that the way "we" (maybe not just Americans) speak/talk (not just pronunciation, but inflections as well) seems to change more rapidly than it used to? Maybe this isn't a new phenomenon as I think about it. Before electronic media we relied on parents and teachers for our models of speech models. But since radio, television, internet and most recently AI has become prominent, not to mention international slanguage, ("no worries") creeping into the insular lexicon, the changes in speech have become much more noticeable, even to an antisocial loner like your humble vagabond. Some, and only a very few examples in this episode.
Today was cloudy and rainy and we contemplated going to the gym and then not going to the gym, opting for the home workout, which was amazingly brutal, and finally drifting around the hood just to be outside and lay down some tracks for our daily episode.
We pump it up on Moon Days even if we have to fake it a little bit to get us going. Much love to ya folks. Keep on keepin' on.

YouTube: [The Gymmy Jamm Season 10] Functional Fall. Deadlifting is still a thing, however we sustained what we deemed a nerve injury that we are still recovering from. (We know the difference between nerve ache & muscle soreness, we think.) Our Autumn plan is for more dynamic movement, rotation, jump training, body weight work. Still working towards strength & power via lifting, but also isometric holds, balance, dead hangs, and various assisted moves. Still working towards, muscle ups, plange, front lever, pistol squats and a few more gymnastic moves. The work is beneficial even if it takes us "forever" to hit those moves. I can feel some dormant muscles activate upon attempting various moves & positions.
